How do I use aMUSEinPHONICS to teach reading comprehension?

The students complete the incomplete illustrations on every page of the 8 pages to demonstrate their understanding, connect the text to their own experiences and knowledge without influence from other illustrators, as well as giving their brains a break before perfectly rereading the page for the final time. The lack of complete illustrations eliminates the possibility of guessing as a viable option for decoding.

aMUSEinPHONICS differs in its approach to comprehension as it uses drawing, colouring and conversation on all 8 pages of each book. This makes reading instruction attractive to the younger set. aMUSEinPHONICS does not require the decoding and comprehension of  additional comprehension questions to discern actual comprehension.
